On the eve of the Lunar New Year, Premier Li Qiang held a discussion with representatives of foreign experts who won the 2024 Chinese Government Friendship Award and worked in China at the Great Hall of the People on the afternoon of January 26. As one of the representatives of foreign experts working in China, Mr. Shao Guosheng, Executive Director of our company, was honored to be invited to attend this meaningful symposium.
Mr. Shao Guosheng has made outstanding achievements in the field of materials science and engineering. As the leader of "New Energy Materials and Devices", one of the four major disciplines of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, he always stands at the forefront of scientific research and leads the development of disciplines. He initiated the English academic journal Energy & Environmental Materials (EEM), which was successfully selected into the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan and became an important business card for the international academic influence of the materials discipline, promoting academic exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad.
In the transformation of scientific research results, Mr. Shao Guosheng, as the first inventor, has obtained more than 40 invention patents, including the world's leading low-cost batch preparation of almost defect-free graphene powder technology and its application technology series, which have been applied, transformed, demonstrated and promoted, injecting new impetus into the development of related industries. With his outstanding contributions in scientific research and industry, Mr. Shao Guosheng won the Yellow River Friendship Award of the Henan Provincial People's Government, the Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award of the China Industry-University-Research Promotion Association, the Invention and Entrepreneurship Figure Award of the China Invention Association, and the Invention Gold Award of the Geneva International Invention Exhibition.
